What website is the best for finding the best trade-in value for your car?

I want to find the most accurate website that gives me the closest trade-in value for my car. Its seems what the dealers say my car if worth is so different then what websites say. I understand the dealers are trying to make money but what do they use to determine my value?

Try autotrader.com or there is a book in my state its called kelly blue book it gives you the most accurate price. Good Luck!
Reply:I had a Buick century and went to a friend's dad who sells cars. He said, "I will tell you what it worth and then what I can give for it" It was worth $1,600 and he would give me $400. He used a NADA book, I think that the letters, most parts store sell them, and will know, for about $5-10. I think, a good investment if you save $1000. You are better off trying to sell the car, the Dealer will consider your trade and Rook you plus may not come down as much on the price. Look at different Dealers and find a few cars you like. Sell yours if you can, then you have the option to trade if it not sell. Never pay sticker price, too many people do this. If a dealer want to sell he will come down, a dollar is better than no dollar. If, they not come down, go to the next Dealer you found and deal, you may do better this way, I not sure of any websites that are not controlled by dealers to tell you what they want you to know. Hope this helps.
Reply:Use the Kelly Blue Book. Very accurate and a great source to figure those things out!
Reply:nada has an online website
Reply:http://www.kbb.com/
Reply:I've found that Kbb.com is reasonable. If you are honest about the condition of your car (no dealer will ever call your car great). So assume at best good to fair condition and that should give you a good idea about what kind of trade value to expect.
